People playing the Pats should keep their mouths shut

The Steelers' Anthony Smith guaranteed a Steeler win over the Patriots today.

I've never seen someone be so wrong.

He even got a mouthful from Tom Brady after he threw a touchdown in the first quarter.

Its 34-13 with 1 minute left. I don't think its gonna happen, Tony. Brady has 400 yards passing and the Steelers were shut out in the second half.

Who wouldn't like to see the Pats get beat by the Jets, Dolphins (yeah, right), or Giants?

The Heisman brings out the big guns

In last night's Heisman ceremony, past winners were invited up on the stage to welcome Tim Tebow into the "fraternity" of "winners". Here were the representatives from the 2000s:

Eric Crouch, Nebraska: Rams and Packers - Never played an NFL game

Chris Weinke, FSU: Panthers - holds NFL consecutive losses record (15)

Jason White, Oklahoma: Titans - only played on practice squad before retiring

Know why they could be at the ceremony? None of them have the burden of needing to be anywhere on Sunday!

Apparently the Heisman Committee was trying to subconsciously tell the future winner that his award doesn't necessarily equate to NFL success!

The Panthers Really Suck

In a season where one team might go undefeated (Pats) and one team might go winless ('Fins), most other teams and their over- or underachieving is lost in the shuffle. Let me be, if not the first, then the loudest to say:

THE CAROLINA PANTHERS SUCK ASS.

I don't even get to see most of the games down here in Mississippi, but I can hear the sucking from Charlotte.
What happened to John Fox? Did he forget what sport he's coaching? You only win with the lowest score in golf, John.

Where did Julius Peppers go? After stating in the off-season that he wanted to be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL, he has gone MIA this season. Too much time raking in the money from his lucrative Q-Tip endorsement deal and not enough time in the workout room. I'd accept a steroid suspension at this point if it would show me some motherfucking effort.

Can we fire Fox? Can we hire Cowher? Would he even take the job? Its horrifically embarrassing to think that Keyshawn Johnson might have been the heart and soul of the Panthers.

Throw the rest of the season. Get a decent draft pick. Do something right, for once.

I'm upset.

UPDATE: I just found out that the Panthers had 149 total yards of offense and 0 touchdowns. To compare, Ryan Grant, the backup tailback for Green Bay, had 156 yards and a touchdown. Logically, Ryan Grant is better than the entire Panthers team. I hate football.
